PG- A Night in the Lonesome October (some v,some b)
Sorry, no data at this time.
A Night in the Lonesome October: Outside Victorian London, a sinister occult event will occur at the full moon on Halloween, pitting several magical adepts against each other. None of them know which side the others are on, so they must try to guess allegiances while they prepare their spells. Each player in the Game has a watcher, an animal companion that helps them gather magical ingredients, guards their base of operations, and spies on the other players and watchers. Within the limits of not betraying their masters' secrets, the animals share information and help in order to better understand the situation in which they find themselves. The story is told from the point of view of Jack the Ripper's watchdog, Snuff. This shaggy-dog story is a tribute to several writers and movies in the horror genre. Much of the premise is inspired by Lovecraft, several players are taken from old monster movies, and Zelazny even works in Doyle's Great Detective.
